This was one of the first things to catch my eye when I stepped off of the double-decker city bus. This pub was covered in famous sayings by famous poets and the sign said famous poets like to drink there. Maybe true. I had done no planning for downtown Dublin, since I had thought I would not have time. But I'm glad I made the effort. It is a very busy place and full of energy.      2014

The crowd was headed across the walking bridge so I followed, since I was enjoying just wandering anyway.      2014

The bar competition is big here, I would say.      2014

These bikers were on their way home from work, fighting rush hour traffic.     2014

The sun came out for a while, but it didn't last long.      2014

She's wondering which one came first, this pub or the American deli meat company?

The reason pubs got the names they did, was because many people could not read way back then,

but they could see the signs with a picture, such as a fox or boar etc.     2014

I was hunting for a place to stay dry, when I took this photo. The rain would come and go.     2014

It started to rain, so I decided it was a good time for a Guinness.       2014

I was out of the rain, studying my Dublin tourist map and having a beer. As I sat and drank this, I thought that a Guinness tastes and looks somewhat like, a coke and milk mixed together, kinda. They taste better in Ireland.     2014

There seems to be a pub on every corner. Maybe an Irish law.     2014

This shopping mall has 5 stories inside and the bottom level was an underground level I think. I still had a Guinness buzz.    2014
