When you arrive in town, you actually arrive from the roadway high up.     2016
The bus ride over to Positano and ride back was Sorrento was very terrifying. 
Very narrow and steep inclines and declines. I saw a few praying.    2016

We stopped by Positano on the way back from Amalfi and took a quick 2nd visit.      2016

This whole town is built in layers, with many carved in walkways.        2016

On the 2nd visit to Positano the day was overcast and the clouds were wafting in to the upper parts of town.     2016

Isle of Capri

This is the jet boat that takes you to Capri (35 euros roundtrip and takes 40 minutes).         2016

Here we are coming into Capri port. This is the working side of the island.      2016

The funicular train runs up the side of the mountain to take you to the center of town.        2016

When I got off of the funicular the churches bells started ringing. For my arrival I'm guessing.         2016

After walking past the fancy stores the place gets less crowded and its covered with flowers.    2016

There was this popular perfume factory. It was very large inside and they had many varieties.      2016

Fresh fruits of all types were growing everywhere it seems. I'm not sure what this was.          2016

The taxis of Capri are unique to the island. This is an old Fiat version. They all come with this cloth roof.    2016

I still could not see the waters edge yet, but I could get glimpses of the best side of the island.      2016

The Town of Amalfi

On the outside Amalfi looks like Positano but it is much smaller and the center of town is more level.     2016

The towns church is its centerpeice and it is grand.     2016

The churches tower is also impressive.       2016

The tile work and art of the church is impressive inside and out.      2016
