At a look out point over the the town of St. Gilgen we saw two "Sound of Music" tour buses fun of American and Canadian tourists. The Austrians have little knowledge or interest in the movie. I talked to an older guy running a gift shop with a fair amount of "Sound of Music" stuff and he said it's still popular with the older 2016

The town of Alpbach has a bucket ride to the top of the tallest local mountain. 2016
